Intense light produced by arc welding or arc cutting contains substantial UV rays that are harmful to eyes. ACHILLES WELDING CURTAIN is a flame retardant flexible PVC film developed to protect eyes of welding workers from such UV rays and other intense visible lights. Moderate transparency of ACHILLES WELDING CURTAIN permits visibility of work from outside of the curtain, securing a well lit work environment comfortable for the workers. Three different colors with different light transmissions are available for selection depending on work location and conditions.

ACHILLES WELDING CURTAIN is composed of a panel and UV ray cutting screen to be assembled with the panel. Spare screens for re-covering are also available.
